About Us
Once upon a pandemic (and, really, long before), I had a dream to create a community space where people could gather to celebrate stories. A place to discover the world through good food and good books because that's where all the best stories are written. Nook & Cranny is the first step in the realization of that dream. It is a bookstore for the non-reader, the new-reader, the book-gifter, and the bibliophile--the only prerequisite is curiosity.

WHERE ARE WE?
Our retail store is located at 324 15th Ave E #101 in Seattle WA (across the street from Safeway, down the street from Kaiser Permanente in Capitol Hill).
WHO ARE WE?
Nook & Cranny is a new and used bookstore and community space. Our mission is to celebrate stories on the printed page and beyond. (We are occupying the former home of the now-defunct Oh Hello Again...but that is not us!)
BOOKS
Books are handpicked and curated by yours truly! They are books I have loved, books I want to read, and books that are impactful in the community. I especially love connecting with local writers in the vibrant PNW literary circles.
USED BOOKS?
Yes! We are excited to offer store credit for used books in good condition. We do not accept ARCs, discarded library books, mass market paperbacks, or books with notes/annotations. All stickers must be removed and the barcodes intact. Due to limited space, please email us at shopnookandcrannybooks@gmail.com if you have a collection larger than 10. You may use credit for up to 40% off future purchases.
AUTHOR EVENTS?
We are not accepting author event inquiries at this time. If you are interested in attending an event, you can see the schedule on our Events page.

RETURNS?
We do not accept returns, but if your online order is wrong, we will of course make it right! We will accept exchanges within 5 days with gift receipt.
